The U15s missed out on a place at the National Finals after finishing in second place in the Northern Finals Day at York Cricket Club.

The semi final saw us face Manchester side Glodwick on the main square at York and another excellent batting display saw us post an impressive 172-9 off our 20 overs. Glodwick struggled with scoreboard pressure and eventually ended up 45 runs adrift.

This set up a final encounter with Burnopfield of County Durham who cruised through their semifinal with Northumberland's Tynedale.

Put into bat the impressive Burnopfield bowling attack restricted our boys to 126-9. In reply the Durham side punished anything off line and made the total with 4 overs to spare.

In conclusion this has been another fantastic run for this set of boys and with only two actual U15s in the side, confidence can be high that we could possibly make the Finals day in 2020.

Well done boys!
