Tom Godfrey's 4th XI have secured top spot in SNCL Division N for 2016.

The 4th XI chased down Fiskerton IIs 171 in less than 43 overs to secure a 20 point win and coupled with Lambley's defeat at Keyworth IIIs can not be overtaken at the top of the table.

Winning the toss and bowling first, Fiskerton steadily accrued their runs with wickets falling slowly. Sam Beale had his best figures of the season with 6-42.

After tea, Barney Mead and Tom Godfrey put on 142 for the first wicket before Tom fell lbw 5 short of his half century.

Barney had been the dominant partner and he perished shortly afterwards for an excellent 87 trying to get the win.

Ben and Tom Le Noury then hit the ball around nicely to secure victory (although Ben got himself out trying to hit the ball to Colwick Park.
